We were commissioned to produce a projection mapping light show as the climax to the renowned Bristol Harbour Festival. The festival is an annual fixture and organisers saw this as a unique opportunity to highlight Bristol as an innovative cultural leader and European Green Capital.
Commissioned by Bristol 2015 and Richmond Event Management, this was the largest projection mapping event ever produced in the City. The show was designed, produced and delivered by The Colour Project.
Creatively the show brought elements to life from Bristol’s rich links with the sea, its vast wealth of cultural talent and pride in innovative environmental sustainability. Large format motion graphics and colossal pseudo 3D animations transformed the Lloyds Amphitheatre into a 90 meter wide projection canvas.
“In It For Good” was a joyous celebration of all that is great about the City and its commitment to long term innovation and development. The show was watched by thousands over the course of two days providing a fitting centrepiece to the festival.
